Playing Time: Unlike other tournaments, we do not guarantee equal playing time at NIT Qualifiers or at the NIT tournament. We are there to WIN!!!! It will be the coaches discretion to substitute players and put players in the necessary positions to give our team the necessary advantage. If a certain combination of players are successful and meshing on the court, the coach will not be worrying about minutes clicking away and or subsitutions until necessary. With that being said, our coaches have always been fair and will do everything in their ability to get players into games and adequate playing time. You would not be on this team if we didn't have confidence in you as a player and your ability to contribute to a win. Playing time might not be equal per game but overall weekend play minutes should equal out.
Player AND PARENT conduct: Keep in mind at all times you are representing the FC United Club team, your coaches, your teammates, your families and yourselves. We expect nothing but respectable behavior by ALL. That includes positive support of our players and teammates, respect to all coaches, referees and NIT staff members. No parent is to approach the bench or playing area at ANY time whatsoever. This can result in our team being disqualified from the tournament. Questions regarding tournament play should be directed to the coach by the player prior to pre-game warm up and following post game analysis. We take our reputation very seriously and any player OR PARENT who exhibits inappropriate behavior will be asked to leave our program and not invited back. So be nice!
